New Mini Series.

An A to Z of coaching.

A thread.

(Feel free to add to the appropriate letter)
A - I'm going with Attractors.

The key attractors in football are the ball, the goal, the opponent, team mates and space (if we are lucky).

They are quite literally what players are attracted to.

By understanding that players are attracted to these they become ripe for change.
Therefore as coaches we can manipulate the attractors to create questions/challenges/tasks for players to solve which will enable players to focus explicitly or implicitly on techniques, principles, tactics and mental skills.
For example, using end zones (manipulated space) rather than goals to encourage players to play forward.
