I was I’m sure about whether to post this thread but here goes.

This got me thinking. Did you know that is a disabled person in receipt of ESA or universal credit gets into a relationship with someone who works more then a certain number of hours per week(Not sure exactly how many), the disabled person it’s no longer entitled to benefits? 2
This rule applies even if the person in receipt of benefits has no prospect of ever being able to engage in the labour market. This effectively means that upon moving in, Many disabled people are forced to become completely financially dependent on their partner 3
How can this be fair? How can it be that some disabled people are forced to choose Between the financial support that we need, And the chance to experience the love and companionship that every single Human deserves. 4
So my question to you is this my friends, should I mention that this is a serious issue that needs addressing? I mean, I doubt anything will come of it but I feel as though if I don’t attention to it, absolutely nothing will change. 5
If you’ve made it this far, thank you very much for reading, apologies that this is a bit heavy for a Friday night! I love you agree with me that inability to work should be #NoBarrierToLove.
