The Gina Carano situation is bizarre. A thread.
So, according to the Twitter Libs, Gina is a transphobe because she mocked this ridiculous new, woke standard of putting your pronouns in your Twitter profile. Not mocking people who suffer from transphobia, but the weirdos who like to signal their virtue.
Now, she’s an anti-Semite for criticizing some Jews. Not all Jews; not most Jews, but a specific subject of Jews. Meanwhile, Dem Congresswomen openly call for the evisceration of the Jewish homeland, and that’s all fine and dandy.
Then, they said it was the “nazi imagery”. Which is SUPER weird since her costar (Pedro “Terrible Maxwell Lord” Pascal) used similar, if not even more offensive, imagery.
This is all happening out in the open and apparently only half the country can see the hypocrisy. That half is the one being increasingly silenced so any hope that others will snap out of it is diminishing.
They shutdown Parler. They shoehorned an anti-pirating bill into the last budget. And now they have free reign to cancel as they have removed all other options for expression and/or entertainment. It’s Hitlerian. It’s Orwellian. It’s anti-American. Yet it’s happening in our time.
