Senators just introduced a bipartisan bill to extend 2 key deadlines -- for apportionment data + delivering redistricting data to states -- for the 2020 Census.

It allow the Census Bureau to keep processing data after dealing with lots of delays due to COVID.
Why does a bill like this matter?

Because without these extensions, there could be a severe undercount of the US population -- specifically in Native, minority and rural communities.
Senators introducing this bill: Brian Schatz (D-Hawai‘i), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska).
(This bill hasn't been introduced yet.)
