Just saw this post about a popular tik tok shorty who killed herself from being bullied online. THIS is sooooooo heartbreaking ya'll! From working in the hoods for 20+ years this suicide epidemic it REAL & it's FAR from being just white folk!
I partnered with a mental health provider that broke A LOT down for me & my team to understand teen suicide better. Basically a teen commits suicide and they get an outpouring of love.
Other teens see it & they decide they want to commit suicide to get that same love even though they know they won't be here to actually get it. There's TRULY a love deficit out here ya'll and PLEASE don't think it stops with our kids and our teens!
PLEASE trust me that there are PLENTY of adults out here that are suffering from a love deficit too cause I literally see it here on twitter EVERYDAY!
So PLEASE check in on your kids, your teens, your friends, your family just to do a welfare check on where they are but more importantly just let folk know you love them and that's more than just words...you HAVE to show love!
