Gina Corano wasn't fired because she's conservative. She was fired because she said things that risked the bottom line of a mega-corporation. If anything, you should be tweeting your support of pro-worker union protections. https://twitter.com/chrislhayes/status/1360241892202545154
Instead, you're supporting an article that bears its ignorance of both contemporary Hollywood and the actual, historical blacklist like a badge of honor. TONS of conservatives work in Hollywood. I know them. I've worked on shows with them.
I've stared across the writers room table at a guy wearing a MAGA hat for half a season. He still runs shows and there's no sign he's been blacklisted. Why? Because he didn't tweet QAnon bullshit that embarrassed his employer. He's just a regular guy who voted for Trump (twice!).
And for the record, Corano ain't special. I couldn't get a meeting at a certain studio for five years because I loudly protested something I believed to be racist. I could point you to a progressive writer who was fired last year for tweets.
The reason you haven't read these stories is because the protagonists aren't part of a movement of conservative adult-babies who are whining because they just want to be able to offend marginalized people in peace.
