I'm thinking about the schools issue logically & maybe we've been going about it all wrong. We keep arguing closed schools hurt kids, trigger depression & suicides, widen racial gaps and drive women out of the work force.
The Biden team knows all that. Why don't they care?

This is the question. Everyone assumes it's because of an alliance with the teacher's unions. Still doesn't explain how a brand-new administration that ran on truth and unity introduces lies and coerced anti-science guidelines in month one. There's something else going on.
Could be as simple as this: The Democrats and the DNC have become the Baby Boomer party. They look out for their own interests - like some federal version of the AARP. Closed schools don't hurt them and may even help them stay in power. There's that...
But it could go deeper. I envision a deal with Big Tech. Amazon, Google, probably some education company like NCS Pearson, all rooting for school to go remote/digital and be under their control. You know, the way MSM has...

For some reason, our president is not bothered that the U.S. in his care is not adequately educating mostly urban, low-income children. He maintains this stance even though his counterparts throughout Europe want open schools.
Why?

Here is @walterkirn in his own words -- far superior to my synopsis, talking not only about government but big business being unconcerned. https://twitter.com/walterkirn/status/1359362048879071232
