Data in Luxembourg’s UBO registry may help unlock an investigation into the Macri family’s lucrative dealings in six wind farms.

2) Argentinian investigators have struggled to tie a former first family, the Macris, to the holding company behind the allegedly corrupt wind farm sales.

The missing link may be a Luxembourg firm called Lares Corporation S.A. 👇
3) While Mauricio Macri was president, his brother Gianfranco set up Lares Corp., which invested in Rainbow Finance, the holding company.

Through a Russian doll-like structure, Rainbow Finance owns the two firms that bought and sold the wind farm concessions.
4) Lares Corp. could explain how the Macris were able to channel money into the wind farm deals without leaving a trace for investigators in Argentina.

A source close to the probe told OCCRP the discovery of this company could "complete the plot" of the alleged scheme.
