Hello to any new followers! It's lovely to meet anyone interested in religious life. I'm a novice sister, living in an Anglican, enclosed, contemplative community in the Church in Wales.
Our life is first and foremost about prayer. Our community is dedicated to the Sacred Cross, and so considering how we live our lives in and through Christ's incarnation, passion, death and resurrection lies at the heart of our charism.
Our first work is prayer, but we also (in non covid times!) offer hospitality to retreatants and small groups. Ecology and land are important to us, as we have stewardship of 65 acres of God's earth, and so my main work is in our vegetable garden, orchards and other habitats.
Being a novice & contemplative I try to keep certain limits on what I share; we value the hidden, silent, unpublicised. This has been a huge learning curve for me! However we welcome enquiries, and rejoice in a large family of associates, companions, oblates and alongsiders.
