2. For every piece of furniture, every doorway, every room, you need to ask for questions.
3. Is this table too high? Is this aisle too narrow? Is there enough space in the bathroom for a wheelchair to turn around? Can someone sitting reach the paper towel dispenser?
4. Do I offer a lowered service counter? Is it readily available?
5. If you’re going to be accessible, do it right. Seek out consultation from experts. Good intentions are great, but they’re not useful if your establishment is not appropriately accessible!
