People might see this as harsh, but sometimes, I'm just being sincere.
You see the reason why Christianity is not a religion but a relationship is because God knows that we humans are capable of manipulating anything just for self gratification.

And this is why the salvation is always about God, His grace, His mercy, His power and might and not by human power.
This is why the warfare is about dying to self.
We see that even in getting understanding from the Bible, people pride in the exegesis they've given...

... themselves to rather than the understanding and revelation that came from the holy spirit.
Maybe we're forgetting that those that worship God do so in truth and in spirit because God is a Spirit and we cannot box Him into our personal opinion.

This whole Christian thing is really not about us but God. He is just merciful and loving that's why we always feel special thinking it's about us.
So, everything must been seen through the lens of Christ, if not, something is wrong.

Knowing that we're all still growing, I pray that we'll continue to approach His throne of mercy with a contrite and sincere heart, so He can truly mould us into becoming that which He wants to become.
