pretty messed up how many trans women legislate ourselves as having always been women and trans men legislate themselves as FtM because the societal narrative that sexual victimhood is legitimated by proximity to femaleness has wormed itself inside our skulls like a vile parasite

hope i'm not projecting here but i mean come on, i read a lot of discourse and there's really no sense in pretending this is not almost exactly what is happening (especially among white people). i'm tired

I'm trying to be as even-handed as possible here but undeniably to me trans men have the upper hand in these kinds of victim-based gender identity formations because the girlhood they can call into being is cis. please don't leave trans women to rot
