Huge effort by all the team @SSCSantry @sscsportsmed x many years

Largest prospective cohort CONTRA ACL inj w biomech Ax

🚨Spoiler
No Diff in Strength/Jump Height/COD LSI
Sagittal Plane incl stiffness NB!

1/3👇
Biomech variables in sagittal plane different on the contralateral side btw those who went on to suffer Contralateral injury and those that did not during DLDJ and SLDJ particularly relating to stiffness and plyometric ability

No difference in asym of biomech variables
There were lower levels of quad strength on contra side in those who suffered contra injury (Small effect size) 🦵

However NONE of the Limb Symmetry values of the strength or jump performance tests commonly used in RTP testing were different between groups 🤔
The findings highlight the importance of ax Contra limb to reduce 2nd đźš‘ post ACLR

🤔 the utility of strength🏋️ & jump height/COD timed tests when assessing Contra risk

It highlights the importance of sagittal plane (not just valgus/frontal plane) during testing for RTP 🤾‍♀‍
