Art and science may seem like polar opposites. But both of them are human attempts to understand and describe the world around us. The subjects and methods have different traditions, and the intended audiences are different, but I think the goals are fundamentally the same. 2/
Science makes the world easier to live in but the reality is that at the intersection of both, science and art are able to influence and shape each other in incredible and valuable ways.3/
Scientists tend to struggle more gaining the new insights. Artists tend to struggle more with the communication. Both often work hard to gain the background and skills that will help them be successful. 4/
Scientists do experiments over and over and over, trying to pin down some new aspect of reality. Once they have their new understanding, there are pre-arranged traditional modes of communication that make that part easier.5/
Whereas Artists often start with the new vision, then work through ‘periods’ in which they explore how best to get the message across. They have shows. They seek feedback to help them understand what works. 6/
The reason why art is necessary to science because creativity involves imagination, and imagination is visualization. Things we are able to conceptualize, visualize or imagine in our mind are the things we can also create, if we have the tools to do so.

As Albert Einstein once said the greatest scientist are artists as well.Although this may come as a surprise to people who have never studied science deeply, but in fact some of the greatest minds in science were inherently creative. This is because science is a form of creation.8/
Such as Ernst Haeckel, Robert Hooke , Vera Meyer, Galileo galilei, Santiago Ramon y Cajal, Maria Merian, Leonardo Sa Vinci who contributed theirs scientific work through artistic lens.9/
these few highlighted here illustrate how art is crucial in helping us understand our scientific legacy and how science is well served by applying an artistic lens. Together, art and science help us interpret, study and explore the world around us.
