I rate Barca '09 very highly but people saying that no one from this side makes it into that team is so wrong. Neuer > Valdes and shouldn't even be a debate. Abidal didn't have a great season at all, in fact he didn't even play 35-40% of the games. (1/4) continued...

Davies on the other hand, had the season of his life. Easily the best LB itw in '20 and also made it to TOTY. Kimmich '20 > Busquets '09. Nostalgic merchants don't know that Sergio hit peak a couple of years later and was just a promising talent back in '09. (2/4)

So comparing him to prime Kimmich is a bit disrespectful. Now, don't get me wrong, Eto'o was pretty good in '09 but nowhere near Prime Lewa who won literally every collective and individual award while being the best player itw in '20. Different levels. (3/4)

Even as a Bavarian, I agree that a combined XI would consist mostly of Barca '09 players cuz the individual talent there was something else. But respect this Bayern side.
