At different times and in different cultures, homosexual behavior has been variously approved of, tolerated, punished, and banned. Homosexuality was not uncommon in Ancient Greece and Rome, and the relationships between adults adolescent males (in particular) have become a... https://twitter.com/saraomalicha/status/1359434713174335489
Chief focus of western classicists in recent years. Judeo-Christian as well as Muslim cultures have generally perceived homosexual behavior as sinful. Many Jewish and Christian leaders, however, have gone to great lengths to make it clear that it is the acts and not d individuals
or even in the “inclination” or “orientation” that their faiths proscribe. Others—from factions within mainstream Protestantism to organizations of Reform rabbis—have advocated, on theological as well as social grounds, the full acceptance of homosexuals and their relationships.
This topic has threatened to cause schisms in some denominations, and attitudes toward homosexuality are generally in flux, partially as a result of increased political activism and efforts by homosexuals to be seen not as aberrant personalities but as differing from “normal”
individuals only in their sexual orientation.
Back in the day before the days (1300–1500), we have seen the Papal authority, opinions and even monarchy challenged. Martin Luther’s rebellion against late medievals views on salvation was also a rebellion against papal authority,
but he was by no means the first to question the assumptions of papal authority/approval or endorsement. In 1321, Pope John XXII reverses earlier papal pronouncements supporting Franciscan poverty, and repudiated previous papal trusteeship of their goods, restoring ownership to
the Franciscans themselves, a far from welcome gift. Pope John’s canonization of Francis the following year by no means mollified the Franciscans: new identifications of the Pope with Antichrist outdid all previous efforts in shrillness. That lent an urgent topicality to earlier
rather theoretical discussions about how to deal with a Pope who was heretic, and to whom no obedience was due: “our faith is not formed by the wisdom of the Pope. For no one is bound to believe the Pope in matters which are of the faith, unless he can demonstrate the...
reasonableness of what he says by the RULE OF FAITH”—that’s according to William of Ockham, a distinguished Franciscan, philosopher-theologian. When the Protestants closed the old monasteries and celibate communities, and proclaimed that clergy were no different from other men
and should make a practical demonstration of a theological point by getting married, they prioritize heterosexual marriage over celibacy casting a large question mark against the motives for compulsory celibacy as originally ‘prescribed’.
The Bible made it clear in Colossians 2:8- “see to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ”. Pope Francis’ position is HERETIC and Antifaith, and as a
result, is only here to further conflict the faith and lead the already immoral society to be further perverted. No scripture supports d Pope’s position and it should summarily be dismissed and ignored. For the sake of emphasis, OUR FAITH IS NOT FORMED BY THE WISDOM OF THE POPE!
