Thread on İyi Party Leader Akşener's statements re: HDP, in which she reiterates İyi Party views HDP & PKK joint but says "we object to the language that suggests all HDP voters are PKK supporters" and "Demirtaş is involved with terrorism " but that he deserves a speedy trial. https://twitter.com/AydnSelcen/status/1360123620132020228
Akşener says "it is not possible for us to be in an alliance with HDP" and signals no opposition to the closure of the HDP, in fact she seems to criticise Erdoğan for being all talk and no action on the matter.
So, what separates İyi Party from the ruling coalition exactly? A belief that İyi Party's economic management would be better than AKP-MHP? Because Akşener's call on Erdoğan to "instruct the court" to expedite Demirtaş is hardly within the bounds of Rule of Law (nor spirit of it)
