the internet, especially twitter, is simply everything you hate about people all in one place. it encourages us to capitalize on our misanthropy and cynicism for clout and internet points, and we have to do our best to resist. being mean for twitter clout is not radical or cool!

being on twitter, in so many ways, is just the antithesis of organizing and building a better world and it makes me sad because the way that I’ve used it for community, sharing joy, organizing purposes and getting material resources to marginalized people has been so good.

I just wish everyone could drop the egos and thinking they’re better than anyone else for the kinds of content they post. you’re literally just being a jerk!
