What does your initial position in a stock look like?
For me, my initial position is 40% of the position size I’m looking to build over the first week I’m in a stock.
Depending on timing, risk:reward, and opportunity cost, I may look to double that first week position over time

Why does this matter?
You shouldn’t just be throwing cash at the new favorite ticker of the day on Twitter like a monkey flinging poo.
Stop FOMOing. 95% of the time, there will be ample time to buy on dips to support instead of going all in on something with no support & 85 RSI

Take that initial position and then set limit buys down the chart at reasonably close support levels. One huge thing I had to learn was that I couldn’t just throw 100% of what I wanted to put into a stock on my initial position and hope I’m right. You need cash for dips.
