A lot of conflation between capitalism and corporatism on timeline. Most seems bad faith. 1/5
Capitalism is the political-economic system where private individuals own property and are free to use or dispose of it as they see fit, to an unlimited degree; it upholds the recognition of individual rights and property rights, in which all property is owned privately. 2/5
If they can't understand that definition, then "Capitalism - The means of the production was owned by the private individual rather than the state." should suffice. 3/5
Although if you want to criticize capitalism, you would have to do so under free-market capitalism, as any criticism you make that isn't free-market capitalism, then you are actually criticizing the regulations rather than Capitalism itself. 4/5
Corporatism - When Corporations, usually very large, leverages an advantage through government regulation to keep them in power, and makes competition to rise harder, while having some control over the government so they can maintain this power. 5/5
