what i'm curious about:
1/ will good notes be more effective than good quote tweets by journos/doctors/experts that often serve fact-checking purposes
2/ will they be, on average, accurate?
3/ will more accurate birdwatchers rise to the top
4/ will birdwatchers trust each other?
5/ will this be cheaper / more effective than hiring fact-checkers to the moments team and have them annotate tweets
6/ will enough people join?
7/ could this turn into a separate power-user platform with extra functionalities?
For now, notes have been a mixed bag. There's been some legit context but mostly what you see already in replies. If a community ethos arises, things might change. Still glad someone's trying a misinformation intervention that treats users as participants rather than subjects
