Very pleased with $DDOG results. As reminder, YoY results always going to be muted by the difficult Q2. +56% might seem disappointing at first, but QoQ growth has been ramping back to 15%! — Prior Qs before Q2 were 15-18% QoQ.) $DDOG is fully back to its prior growth!!

2 acquisitions, both interesting. Timber has Vector, a tool for collecting and unifying observability data - so all about improving ingest. Not sure if they will keep it vendor-neutral - probably leads to new ingest tool for Datadog platform.

Sqreen is the other. They are expanding $DDOG’s cybersecurity features for app protection. They do RASP (runtime app self-protect), libs you embed into your app for real-time protection and security analytics. (One of the things SigSci does, acq by $FSLY.)

Datadog’s moves into cybersecurity are continuing to expand, and RASP is a great add. Risk is that it isnt as a strong a product as cybersecurity competitors already doing this, but its a great upsell for existing developers using platform for Observability.
