Thanks to each of you who sent a nice message to the inbox this evening. I truly appreciate all of them. I wanted to say thank you by making a thread of some lessons that I learned along the way to be profitable. These are my experiences and what I’ve found to work
1. Don’t feel like you have to take every trade alerted (more opportunities show up)
2. If your gut tells you that you missed the entry, you probably did (research shows that gut feelings are connected to the brain)
3. Don’t have 10 charts up at once (I only keep 2 on my setup)
4. Don’t have more than a couple open positions at once (being heavy in just a couple plays at a time makes you more money)
5. Load the boat on the dip (I slap dips so hard it makes Tdameritrade lag)
6. Accept your losses (if you know you prob lost just cut it without question)
7. Stay calm always (the stock is either going up or down. Anxiety has no effect on the stock it just takes focus away)
8. Be inspired by others profits (seeing major gains by others early in my career motivated me and put me in the proper mindset to attain that too)
9. Focus on what’s moving on the scanner. (It’s on the scanner for a reason)
10. It’s okay to not take a trade on some days (if you don’t see your setup come then don’t take it. Better to be flat than force a losing trade and spend the next day making that up)
These are my experiences that I would go back and tell my younger self when I first started trading. I hope this helps you guys and I really hope to see you all obtain astronomical levels of success. God bless and happy trading
