i'm going to say it. we were horrifically close to a full scale massacre of our government on live television. it's not funny. it's not a stunt. it was just going to be a massacre. and i remember thinking on 1/6 i don't want to see this. i don't want them to murder anyone.

i was specifically scared they were going to murder pence and it's not like i care for the man but i don't want to see him murder. i don't want to see anyone murdered. and i don't want to see my government massacred on television, regardless of how i feel about said govt.

if you feel like you're overstating or misremembering how you felt on 1/6 you're not. it was a completely legitimate fear that there was going to mass murder. they wanted to commit mass murder. don't let anyone get away with telling you that wasn't something that could happen.

and they would not have just murdered democrats. i have zero doubt that they were going to murder indiscriminately. they likely wouldn't have known the difference between hawley or murphy. hawley might be in denial about that but he is completely wrong.
