I support the ASTI's stance for 5 reasons:
1. My own son had 3 subjects downgraded. Other students were treated worse.
Yet others were upgraded?
Teacher's grades counted for little
- No Fairness
2. We ranked students top to bottom, as it wouldn't be published
- No Trust

3. Currently, I could guess at a grade, but a specific %? How?
- No Basis
4. To rank students in 1% increments when I know I cannot stand over that degree of accuracy.
- No Respect.

5. And finally. Every year I teach a few Swans. They generally molt in May of 6th year, but it can be 3rd week of August before I discover their beautiful white plumage.
- No more Ugly Ducklings left behind.
