cw // sexual assault , cnc , dubcon , noncon

Hi friends, for a long time I've been seeing consent terms (cnc, dc, nc) being used or tagged in ways that make me go ???

So here's a thread clarifying what you can expect from me when I use these terms to tag or refer to my work.
cw // cnc

CNC or Consensual Non-Consent: activities (including roleplay) in which all parties agree to behave in a way that mimics non-consensual scenarios or behavior. Consent has been given and is maintained by all parties involved.
cw // cnc

CNC negotiation doesn't always occur explicitly within the fic, but if I tag a fic as CNC you know that this has happened at some point prior to the events in the fic. If I tag a fic as cnc you know that this is very clearly CONSENSUAL ACTIVITY.
cw // dubcon

Dubcon or Dubious Consent: Consent has not been established with certainty or has been gained through questionable circumstances. This can also be used when it is unclear to the reader if consent has been given. Because of this, I sometimes use it with a cnc tag.
cw // sexual assault, noncon, rape

Noncon or Non-Consent: consent has not been granted by one or more involved parties. It is carried out forcibly, by threat/coercion against a person's will, or w/ someone who's unable to consent.

This is synonymous with sexual assault or rape.
cw // sexual assault, noncon, rape

As a reference for my content, I do not write noncon, as sexual assault is a huge trigger for me.

Hopefully this is useful!
To be extra clear: no, this not a vague or a subtweet. I just want to be very clear about boundaries and expectations on my page. Thanks!
