THE FUTURE OF CHELSEA LOANEES

(How long it should take them to return to the Chelsea squad)

[A THREAD]
RLC [1 season] – With Fulham likely to go down, RLC will be wanting to make an impression on the new manager, Thomas Tuchel. His loan was definitely a good move for his career. His composure and strength are his biggest assets and warrant his space in the squad next season.
Barkley [1 season] – Barkley has been a vital part of a very successful Aston Villa side this season. His ability to drive with the ball is second to none. Being in contention for a spot in the England squad, Barkley definitely earns his squad spot back when he returns from loan.
Tomori [1 season] – Tomori’s been getting minutes under his belt and gaining experience from some quality players with what looks to be the start of a successful loan at Milan. He never did anything to get dropped so he should be getting back into the squad when he leaves Milan.
Sarr [2 seasons] – Even at 22 years of age, Sarr already has over 100 league games in a topflight league. He’s a left sided centre back with a lot of pace. The experience he has at his age is what makes him a quality signing, but it may take him another season to make the squad.
Ampadu [3 seasons] – A Welsh international and a premier league starter, Ampadu is still very young at 20. He already has a lot of game time under his belt and should expect to make the Chelsea squad in a few seasons.
Bakayoko [sell] – Bakayoko is on his third season out on loan for Chelsea. He is now 26 years of age. His chances of being sold are definitely high and perhaps that is the best thing for his career, and financially for Chelsea.
Kenedy [sell] – Kenedy has never proved himself whilst on loan. He’s had a taste of Premier League football at Newcastle but didn’t turn any heads back at Chelsea. Although not very old, he hasn’t shown any signs of improving. Competition is high right now and he’s not the level.
Moses [sell] – Moses peaked under Conte. Although he has a space in Chelsea fans’ hearts, his time playing at the Bridge is sadly in the past, with 4 consecutive loan periods.
Van Ginkel [sell] – Van Ginkel has a total of 4 appearances for Chelsea, he doesn’t appear to be adding to that tally any time soon. He should be sold.
