Kenneth Hall captained our 1980-81 team which won a share of both the Ivy League and Big 5 titles. He was named first-team All-Ivy and swept our program’s Kiefaber and McDonald Awards after the season.

A few years ago, Ken made a significant gift to the program to start an award in his honor that @Coach_Donahue holds dear, the Billy Basic Fundamentals Award.

The Billy Basic Award goes to "the glue guy of the team who does all the little things right, makes free throws, hustles, rebounds, plays defense, and is unselfish. He is the unsung hero who makes the team better."

This is the 40th anniversary of that 1980-81 team and we will honor them on Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. when we re-air their 67-62 win over Big 5 rival La Salle from 2/17/81 as part of our 2020-21 Virtual Basketball Schedule at http://www.youtube.com/pennsportsnetwork.
