Stop telling every kid that recruiting services are a waste. Not every kids situation is the same.
My parents never went to college, no one in my family played a college sport. I graduated from a program that was 4 years old with a HC that was on his way out and didn’t help.

I wasn’t good enough to play at any of the larger schools so it’s was all D3-D2. There mine as well be 1000 of them and guess what there’s not many of those in FL so it had to be out of state.
I had no idea how to handle the process or even what schools were out there. My parents are well off enough to pay NCSA for a basic tier and an advisor that helped me find schools with my major, in the states I was interested in and guide me through the process, it was invaluable
I had the grades, the scores and I hounded small schools to get noticed. Well I ended up with more offers and more scholarship money then a kid like me deserved and it started with a recruiting advisor.
Stop cookie cutting kids situations. Stop crapping on people making a living training or consulting. Educate families and leave your door open for questions. Do whatever it takes for your kids to be what they want.
