Ppl say there's too much sex in the media, but I'm realizing that the more we repress sexual desires, the more we put ourselves at their mercy. You can't face, understand or manage something if you insist that it shouldn't exist. And then demonize those who do want to understand.

The media is so sexualized because all the sexual energy being repressed needs somewhere to go. Until a society can collectively accept sexuality as a natural and overall positive aspect of life, sexual expression will find outlets in any place it can.

Imagine sexual desire like the powerful ocean. Imagine trying to contain the ocean according to your limited view of it. When it spreads everywhere on earth and you'll never ever see the bottom. You'll only frustrate and possibly drown yourself.
