These are spiral legs. An older style, popularized in the late 1600s, but make a comeback every 100 years or so.
Inspired by Greek columns, these are called fluted legs. They are round legs with vertical grooves cut into them.
Reeded legs are the opposite of fluted legs, where the ridges are rounded outwards.
And yes, those feet are tiny pinecones.

This is the cabriole leg: it's a leg shaped like an "S." The leg first curves outward and then inward, either slightly or more dramatically.
