1. On today’s episode of #IgboAmaka
Who is Igbo and who is not Igbo. I’m going to tell the story of my Igboness. Let’s go
1/14
2. I will say emphatically, that it’s pure ignorance and lack of realization of self that will make someone from the Delta North senatorial district of Delta State otherwise known as Anioma to deny his/her Igboness.
3. I’m a proud Ukwuani man of Delta State, a home boy, born and bred in my Ogume village, so no one can tell my people story morethan my very self. All these denials of not being Igbo is nothing short of inferiority complex,
4. and the moment one grows above that realm of defeatism and inferiority complex, there is no way one wouldn’t embrace his Igboness. I am unapologetically an Igbo Boy and does not need anyone to validate this for me.
5. Now to my story, it was in 2015. NANS is made up of four Zones (Zone A,B,C & D). The 11 States of South South and South East Nigeria is what makes up the Zone B of NANS. I was then the Public Relations Officer of NANS Zone B. In 2015 I was contesting for the position of the
6. Coordinator (you can call it the President of the Zone). There is a conventional practice in our zone that rotates the position of the Coordinator between the South East and South South block of the zone.
7. At this point, the outgoing Coordinator was from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anambra State (occupying the South East turn). In line with the conventional practice, it was now the turn of South South to produce the Coordinator,
8. so me contesting the Coordinator from Delta State University, Abraka as a Deltan, wasn’t out of place.
9. At the peak of the contest, one of our supposed respected leader from Bayelsa State, told one of my leaders (a major backer of my candidacy ) in the South East block of the Zone;
10. Late Comr. Sheriff (May his soul continually find rest), that he (Sheriff) is bringing his brother, an Igbo boy in me to take the turn of South South, that it will be resisted by every means.
11. True to the treat, he mobilized other leaders and opposed my candidacy, in support of another guy from Cross River State.
12. As someone who is familiar with d political turf of the zone, we did our issue based campaign headed by my Igbo Brother; Minister Udochukwu as our campaign D.G & as God will hav it on 15th December, 2015, I won d election as d Coordinator of NANS Zone B at FECOLART, Owerri.
13. Now tell me, after passing through all these, who can be more Igbo than myself?

So brethren listen & listen carefully, Mbù Onye Igbo, Kpò Mkwem, who nor go nor no!

My parting words to those denying dis obvious truth, is you’re only deceiving yourself, you’re Igbo period!
14. Igbo is Igbo and Igbo is One, whether West of the Niger, East of the Niger or South of the Niger, we’re One great people.
