I testified to strongly support a statewide tax on profiteering rich & to oppose any attacks on Seattle’s Amazon Tax. Stunningly, Dem State Rep Noel Frame rudely interrupted me many times, saying I wasn't maintaining "decorum" & silenced me (literally muted me on the Zoom call).
Dem Rep Frame interrupted my public testimony & then silenced me when I started speaking about how State Democrats said publicly last month they would pass any statewide wealthy taxes only if they could preempt or phase out Seattle’s tax on big business.
Why would State Democrats - who currently control both Houses & the Governor's mansion - censor and silence public testimony against attacks on Seattle's Amazon Tax (attacks that State Dems themselves said they might carry out) if they don't intend to carry out such attacks?
