because you don't win by canceling Disney+ and then signing up again for book of boba fett, or wanda vision. or turning off one show but watching 18 others. You win by giving it all up. but then, if your like me, you have to go a step further even then that.

In a world like this any publicity is good publicity. Even bitching about star wars or disney helps them out. So I am going to give that up as well. I'm not just going to stop buying their products. I'm going to stop talking about them.

No more posts about how bad things are, or video responses to articles, no more griping about KK or Iger, not even movie reviews about the good things they bought, like the original star wars, no more disgruntled jedi.

I was planing on going on a hiatus from twitter for lent. That is still the plan, I don't know if I'll leave early or not, it will depend on how many dumbasses try to keep listing off the Disney+ lineup, still not understanding I don't care.

but during that time I will be rebranding, here, and the youtube channel. Hell I might even start over completely. I don't plan to abandon my love of real star wars. Just not going to give Disney free publicity. Not until things change. and i doubt they will.

I encourage you, if you're reading this and also as angry as I am, to do the same. Walk away. "what you resist, persists". Don't give it the time and energy it needs to fester like a plague. maybe it will work, maybe it won't....

But if it doesn't, and they really do just keep doing the shit they have always done... do you really want to keep giving them your money? is it really worth it, in the long run? Only you can answer that for yourself.
