How Christians win the culture war...

First, we’re not in a war for the culture. Not really. Winning the culture is not the point. Winning souls for Christ is the point. 1/6
Second, it isn’t really our war. It’s Christ vs. the forces of evil, and Christ is going to win. He’s the only one that can win. He defines what winning looks like. 2/6
Third, we have only one choice: to serve Christ or to serve the enemy. Serving Christ looks like loving God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and loving your neighbor as yourself. Fail to do that and we serve the enemy. 3/6
Therefore, our first concern is simply to make sure we’re on the right side: not that God is on OUR side, but that we are on GOD’S side. Abraham Lincoln said something like that and he was right. 4/6
Our second concern is to point people to Christ, and there are two chief means of doing that. 1) Love them tremendously. 2) Tell them the good news. 5/6
Of course, life isn’t simple. Under these primary tasks are a host of sub-tasks, but we must keep the main thing in mind. It would be a shame to spend our lives fighting the wrong war with the wrong allies. 6/6
