Let's begin

Does your computer have enough battery? Does the camera work? Does the microphone sound nice? Is the Wi-Fi good?
Do you have the program installed? If you can, do a test call with a friend beforehand to ensure everything is working correctly.

Please, don't be in your pajamas. If you can, wear a nice shirt.
You can also try some outfits in the test call with your friend, there are some colors/patterns that don't work well with the camera so be careful!

If you live with more people, tell them to not interrupt you, if you have an animal, try to have someone take care of it during the interview.

Don't have dirty laundry or a disorganized mess behind you, it makes you look bad.
Check your lighting and illuminate your face, natural light is always the best but if you can't, get a lamp!

Don't put the camera on the side, put it on the top of your monitor, this way, when you look at the interviewer, it looks like you are looking at them in the eyes.
Also, keep a good posture.

Don't shout but make sure the interviewer can hear you.
Wait a couple of seconds before answering questions to avoid talking over them, in case either of your connections is low.

Thank them for their time and the opportunity, tell them that you look forward to hearing back from them.
You reached the end of the thread.
I hope these tips will help you ace your next interview and land that job.
You can do it! Good luck!
