I hate the whole "genital preference" thing because 95% of the time when cis ppl say it it's just code for "I don't see trans people as fully their gender and/or I think their bodies are disgusting"
I actually have a genital preference believe it or not, and it's *actually* a genital preference. I like penises, I think they neat. I also think beards are neat too, but you don't see me accusing clean shaven men of not being covered by my sexuality "because I only like men"
And like yeah, if the guy I'm gonna be sleeping with has a penis, hey, that's cool, I like penises, but if he doesn't it's not like that's some catastrophic dealbreaker!!! We can still have a good time!!
If I've gotten up to the point where his genitals are even relevant then I already like him plenty, and I'm not really in the habit of randomly asking ppl what genitals they have or making guesses coz that's kind of rude lmao
THAT is a genital preference. I don't act like he's less of a man or "not part of my sexuality" depending on whatever setup he has. Sure I do have one setup I like a bit more than the other but it's just a prefence, not a pre-requisite!! 
I'm just sick of cis people talking about what OBVIOUSLY goes WAY beyond being just a preference but they claim it's "just a preference" so hard that you can't criticize their anti-trans bias without being accused of "not respecting consent" like fuck off
And for the record, if you do get criticized for this, we're not asking you to date trans people. We're asking you to GET THE FUCK OVER YOURSELF AND YOUR SHITTY ATTITUDE TO TRANS PEOPLE ALREADY!!!!
And honestly, until you do that growth and get over yourself,,,, you can actually stay away from trans people in general because NO trans person deserves to have to deal with your bullshit 
OH YEAH this too. When you say "but plenty of trans women have vaginas anyway" they almost always respond with "okay but those don't count" like srsly....
