Let’s be honest, both the L and the R embrace cancel culture. The only difference is who gets canceled and for what offense.

When our team does it we call it "defending the cause." When the other team does it we call it "cancel culture." When it happens to our enemy it's "justice." When it happens to our ally it's "persecution."

Religions have employed ‘cancel culture’ tactics forever. They called it excommunication. The fact that political parties now take the same approach is more proof that politics has become a fundamentalist religion for many using fear to demand absolute loyalty & purity.
