So, I was laid awake at 4am this morning replaying some bad experiences I had early in my writing career. I was having those imaginary conversations where you have just the right words to put your tormentor in their place. 1/4
It took me until this afternoon to realise that it was all triggered by the revelations about Whedon. And I suspect that I'm not the only thinking about tough times and the other bullies you sadly meet in the TV industry. 2/4
Thankfully, I was in @TheWritersGuild meeting this aft and our brilliant Deputy Gen. Sec. reminded me the WGGB has some online resources. Starting with our mental health support resources. 3/4

And if you want to report any bullying and harassment you may have experienced in the past, you can do that anonymously via our Report It page.
And if you are currently experience abuse, do not hesitate to get in touch with the WGGB office. 4/4 https://writersguild.org.uk/report-it/
