1992 as the first time in a long time NH had voted for the Democratic Candidate for President. In 1996, the Democrat, Bill Clinton, again carried NH, increasing his narrow 1% win to a 10 % win. Though he won with a plurality both times, in 1996 he flipped a few counties.
He also flipped some towns, and a few wards in the cities. Compared to 2016 and 2020, Bill Clinton did better than Biden or Hillary Clinton in Franklin, winning it when they both lost it, and winning all wards in Claremont, when neither of the others did. B. Clinton also...
won Rochester, a city Hillary Clinton lost, and Biden lost by ~1%. Laconia, an Obama-Obama-Trump-Trump city, was won by Clinton in 1996, but not 1992.
