3) Between trying to intimidate and extort the Ukraine President Zelensky for (nonexistent) dirt on Biden and begging GA SOS Raffensberger to over turn the election results— Trump never stopped trying to fleece his way into another term. When that didn’t work he turn to violence.
4) When Trump saw he was losing the election he began to foment his retaliation. First through legal means asking his lawyers to prove in court there was vast “voter fraud”, there was not. 7)The Republicans sitting with their feet up ignoring the evidence are showing us democracy no longer suits their needs. When they deregulated Wall Street, defunded our social programs, falsely claim they’re “fiscal responsibly” while giving themselves tax breaks they were for it
8) Now those same Republicans recognize that 30% of their base is radicalized & they can fundraise off those people. 9)Josh Hawley & Ted Cruz don’t see the benefit of democracy or even upholding the law - those narratives don’t work for them anymore. The only thing that seemingly works for them is pretending the enemy is anyone who doesn’t agree with everything they stand for, which is nothing.
