With Glasgow about to enter Level 2 territory, and Falkirk and Clackmannanshire having turned a corner, there's a small possibility the the FM might consider moving us all down a level in the rear future.

But don't hold your breath!

Edinburgh is still L1...

Here's another reminder that the SG Positivity Rate is not the one now used by WHO!

The WHO indicator is for the random testing that ONS & others do.

We're at 0.87% for the ONS/WHO rate, less than a fifth of the SG one.

That's HALF the upper-limit for their L1 equivalent.

Despite the above, the SG are still quoting the wrong version of Positivity (AND not calculating it correctly!).

It's improving, but will forever remain quite high if the Scottish Government continue to ignore the large number of LFD mass-tests that are being conducted.

3/
This really matters because - when the next review of whether we should be let out of lockdown is conducted - they will (accidentally or deliberately) be using a completely wrong rate to compare with the WHO criteria.

We will be kept in lockdown much longer than the WHO advises.
