When you look into the details, you see that the popular fan favourite @ginacarano was fired by @jon_favreau at Disney because in passing, she revealed a truth that you're not allowed to say. Namely, that the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazis) came from the left.

It seems that @jon_favreau and his ilk wants to rewrite history. They want it so that their side can use the tools that Hitler and Stalin used. Here in Europe where we have relatives affected and are living in the places where it happened, it is less credible to rewrite history.

For those like @jon_favreau, everything has to conform to the narrative. In his mind, Donald Trump went back in time and started Nazism, not the German elite leftists who did (who were in correspondence and held dinners with the Jim Crow and Margaret Sanger era US Democrat Party)

The Nazis were not a bunch of truckers from Texas. Hitler ran away from a middle class family to become a bohemian artist. Heinrich Himmler was from a wealthy family (connections with the royal family), got radicalised at University, like the crazies today.

Who first up to Hitler in the 30s? Not Hollywood, the Universities or politically correct, they said we should pitch in for European Unity. It was the "far-right" "little Englander" Churchill, the @Nigel_Farage of his day, and the "deplorables and irredeemables" on the fringes.

The first major act of resistance against Hitler was in 1933, by Evangelical priests, they were in solidarity with the Jews. They almost brought down Hitler, not from the left but from the right. They argued Nazism was idolatry. So Hitler quickly replaced all the church leaders.

This idolatry, worship of the state instead of God, is at the heart of a lot of leftist thought. It is why it was so easy for the German form of socialism (Nazism) and the Russian form of socialism (Communism) to come together in the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.

The point of Godwin's law is not to say Don't Mention the War (John Cleese Fawlty Towers sketch) but to show a lot of things can be compared to Nazism because that is where big state ideology was pushed to it's logical limit - the government was so big it decided who could exist.

The argument of the US left is that don't look at the German example of a giant socialist government, don't look at Russian example of it. Our US socialist government is going to better, we are only going to put the bad people in the Gulags and remove free speech for good reasons

We won't be corrupt, we'll silence our political opponents using Big Tech and Corporate Media censorship just in case. This relationship between Disney and other corporations and the Democrat party, nothing to see here. Look at those evil old statues from two hundred years ago.
