...getting the details right, not deciding your fundamental strategic values. Need ongoing dialogue on the latter, ppl want healthier/safer streets & to address climate change - and there are consequences, minor sacrifices & changes needed for this. 2/

Ambition needs to match the challenge. We get nowhere with weak schemes designed to dodge objections. Where are victims of pollution & road danger in all this? Where are the children who will pick up the tab for failure to tackle carbon emissions? What of their objections ?
