Next is Mr Downie's favourite Creola Katherine Johnson.
She was a mathematician whose calculations were critical for NASA to put an astronaut into Space. 🌌

Mrs Burns' favourite is Sally Ride who was the first American female in Space and the 3rd woman in space overall 👩🏻‍🚀
@MissAliChem's favourite is Ida Freund. The first female Chemistry lecturer in the UK. Also the first person to bake a set of periodic table cupcakes 🍰
@MissSnedTweets's favourite is Professor Dame Sue Black.
Professor Dame Sue Black is a forensic anthropologist who has reunited families with the bodies of their loved ones.
She has worked across warzones and is a leading name in her field.
Dr Flaherty couldn't pick just one and why should she have to? 🤷🏻‍♀️
First is Marie Curie who studied radioactivity and paved the way forward for woman in science everywhere.
Second we have Florence Nightingale the founder of modern nursing.
