A new report published today warns against the invisible threat of particulate matter pollution. Improving air quality needs to be "at the core" of the UK's post-pandemic rebuild. This has to mean fewer cars, not fewer bike lanes. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-56013240
Particulate matter pollution is harmful for everyone, but some groups are being hit hardest – pregnant women, children, older people, those living with lung conditions and those on the lowest incomes. Even electric cars contribute to this.
Important work from @asthmauk @lunguk @smacfadyen11.

They ask for:
- Setting of ambitious clean air laws
- Vastly improving public information on air pollution
- Set out funding and guidance for traffic reduction measures
- Commit to inclusive walking and cycling policies
