1. Gowher Rizvi, Bangladesh government's foreign advisor given a very hard time by @dwnews on @AJIunit film and corruption and human rights allegations in general. He said some interesting things about the film. https://www.dw.com/en/conflict-zone-guest-gowher-rizvi/av-56527538
2. It appears that his greatest anxiety he had about the film was the title, "All the Prime Minister's Men". Protecting the prime minister appears to be the key strategy here.
3. He suggested that it would be very serious if the country's chief of army staff General Aziz Ahmed knew the whereabouts of his two fugitive brothers, convicted of murder, but did not inform the authorities - but then failed to consider what should be the govt response.
4. He suggested that the authorities could not arrest the 2 fugitive brothers when they came to Bangladesh, as they travelled under different names. But Anis travelled under his real hame. And as for Haris, General Aziz was complicit in allowing him to travel on a fake passport.
5. It should also be noted that earlier, @NetraNews revealed that Joseph, the 3rd convicted brother had obtained a fake identity/passport. In response, no investigation/action was taken against him by the Bangladesh authorities. This speaks volumes
6. And he suggested that there was a six month gap between the pardon of the other convicted murder brother Joseph and the appointment of Aziz Ahmed as Chief of Army Staff - suggesting there was no connection between the two. In fact it was only one month.
7. And who appointed Aziz Ahmed. The prime minister - who whilst not being a key protagonist in the film, clearly has many questions to answer.
