I feel a bit sick I only got this plea for help from Jewish students @SPC_Oxford after the Ken Loach event happened.

I’ve made my views on Loach known before. Oxford colleges are homes for students, I certainly wouldn’t have wanted him in mine.

Some of the reasons why:

NB Dave Rich is the head of policy at @CST_UK, the Jewish security charity, and PhD in left wing antisemitism. https://twitter.com/daverich1/status/989795878767652864

More, defence of Ken Livingstone:

Note, the EHRC report has since found the Labour Party guilty of unlawful harassment of Jewish people due to KL’s behaviour. Many of his condemned comments sound awfully similar to Loach’s “Zionist lobby” “mischief-making” smear formulations. https://twitter.com/euanphilipps/status/1359632035242008577
Incidents like these inevitably lead to a spike in antisemitism. They give an opportunity for various racism apologists to do what they do best - stoke distrust and aggression towards an aggrieved minority - they must be bad faith actors, lying to achieve some ‘hidden agenda’.
@stephenkb writes well on this. Especially on no-platforming vs freedom of speech, which I respect people will have different views on for different reasons.

But in the interests of FoS, the Jewish students of @SPC_Oxford and @UniofOxford deserve to have their voices heard too. https://twitter.com/stephenkb/status/1359566424323276803
