I am genuinely intrigued, excited and buzzed about the young talents that are coming through our Youth Academy. Not to put pressure on them, but just the fact they are so talented they could transform the first team if given the opportunities. It will be a sight to behold.
Some that have already been called up and working in the first team also included in this thread.
It makes it all the sweeter, even when they are given the opportunity to play elsewhere on loan, to develop further at a professional level.
In some of these players, they have the capacity to come in, do a job and stake a claim. If given the chance, I hope they succeed. I really do.
Look at those already in and around the team as well, some have become so crucial, they are becoming undroppable. That's testament to mentality and hard work.
Names of those that have taken a chance, have gone few and far between in football dating all the way back to October 1937. Since then, the Youth Players that have been in and around the first team.... Have never looked back, even if they made it elsewhere, they took a chance.
The club has it's future of young, youth academy players that can come in and transform the club.... It makes all the sweeter when you think of such young talents that came through the academy.... Some examples shown will be shown below.
Duncan Edwards, George Best, Sir Bobby Charlton and Denis Law. 👹🇾🇪👹🇾🇪❤️❤️❤️
David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Nobby Stiles.
Mark Hughes, Wes Brown, Norman Whiteside and Gary Neville.
So where does this rich history stem from.. The game in October 1937, Manchester United were managed by Scott Duncan, who began this run, before he was replaced By Walter Crickmer for the second time in November 1937.. It would then stem the way for what was to come.👇👇
In 1945, Sir Matt Busby took over and began what would be a transformation of Manchester United, he had such faith in young players that he wanted to build his team around the top young talents, which would be known as the Busby Babes.

His work with Jimmy Murphy is Legendary.
The clubs first league title in 41 years was secured in 1952, going on to form a legacy at the club. The title would be won back-to-back in the 1955-56 and 56-57 seasons with an average age of the squad at 22 years old.
In 1957, Manchester United became English football's first European representative, after Chelsea were famously denied entry by the Football League into the newly created European Cup/Champions League. United lost in the semi finals to defending champions Real Madrid.
During that European Campaign United achieved a record result for the club which still stands... A 10-0 win over Belgian Champions Anderlecht.
The following season, a horrible tragedy known as The Munich Air Disaster, sadly claimed the lives of 8 of the Babes lives.. Geoff Bent, Roger Byrne, Eddie Colman, Duncan Edwards, Mark Jones, David Pegg, Tommy Taylor and Billy Whelan

We will never forget them. ❤️❤️
The rich history of the club stems from Busby's legendary team. The club would rebuild itself after the terrifying events in Munich on that fateful day February 6 1958.

The club would go on and win the FA Cup in 1963, with Busby forming a new team with Murphy and Bobby Charlton.
Legendary Manchester United scout Bob Bishop, discovered a talent at the age of 15 over in Belfast and his exact quote to Sir Matt Busby.. "I think I've found you a genius."

Bishop was right and what Best went on to achieve at Manchester United is nothing short of Legendary.
It all transpired with regaining the league title in 1965 and 1967 before going on the following year to win the European Cup. The first English club to do it. Defeating Benfica 4-1 (after Extra Time) at Wembley Stadium.

The Team of '68, Sir Matt and Brian Kidd with the Trophy.
In 1977, led by manager Tommy Docherty, Manchester United who had regained promotion to the First Division in 1975, reached a second consecutive FA Cup Final. Where they defeated bitter rivals Liverpool 2-1 denying them an historic Treble. This was a classic United performance.
The legacy continued when Ron Atkinson promoted Norman Whiteside to the first team during his tenure and made a crucial signing for the club Bryan Robson. Whiteside became the youngest player to score for United at senior level, and in the League and FA Cup Finals. 2 FA Cups won.
Sir Alex Ferguson, rebuilt the clubs youth academy during his initial years after becoming Manager in 1986 and would go on to achieve monumental success.... The Class of 92 as they were famously dubbed "Fergie's Fledglings" would help the club in achieving their greatest feats.
The 1998-99 Season still stands as the clubs greatest ever season.... Winning The Treble, no other English club has achieved this and this team was built on those youth players, an indomitable spirit and the genius additions already in or added to the Squad by Ferguson.
In 2008, the club would achieve a League and European Cup double, with the clubs 3rd Champions League title.. With Club No.7 Ronaldo scoring his 42nd goal of the season. He would go on to be Uniteds first Ballon D'Or Recipient since Best 40 years prior, a Youth Academy Graduate.
That 08 final had Giggs (the clubs record appearance holder), Scholes, Brown and Neville (an unused substitute). The clubs youth tradition is one of its proudest achievements. The 2017 Europa League Final was also won by a team containing Youth Graduates.

The wonders of Manchester Uniteds Youth Academy, it has a long and proud history and many more great years to come from it.

I Love this Club, I always will. I cannot wait to see, what the next generation achieve.
