Our first is @lucygwen_gillis who researches how we can upscale #naturebasedsolutions solutions for carbon capture in a #bluecarbon systems. Lucy wants to solve global #climatechange problems @UN_Women
Our second is @AlinaMWieczorek who researches the abundance and #ecology of #mesopelagic fish. What alina enjoys about being a scientist is that for her each study or project is like solving a riddle in the search of a better understanding of our natural world. @UN_Women
Our third #WomeninScience is @AmandaSchaScha, who researches the (anticipatory) gouvernance of mesopelagic fisheries. Amanda enjoys being a scientist because she loves that changing her mind is seen as a strength not as a weakness. #MarSocSci #societyandthesea #WomenInSTEM
Our fourth #WomeninScience is Costanza who researches emerging #contaminants and # pollution. She enjoys being a researcher because it makes her feel useful for society. #womaninscienceday
Our fifth #WomenInSTEM is Cristina Rocha ( @Smiley_Cris9) who does research on the water quality of #estuarine and #coastal #environments. Christina enjoys being a scientist because of the constant pursuit of something new while contributing to a better world

Our seventh #WomenInScience is @IBuselic who does research in #aquaculture where she tests new feeds and feeding protocols. Ivana likes the dynamic nature of her work, that every week is different and that each new project brings something new to learn and grow as a scientist
